Security
Unreleased content comes with real responsibilities. We keep access limited, separate client material by project, encrypt data, monitor our systems, and maintain recoverable backups.
Just as importantly, we discuss each production’s requirements before work begins so there are no surprises once files start moving.
Protecting the work
Unreleased content comes with real responsibilities. We keep access limited, separate client material by project, encrypt data, monitor our systems, and maintain recoverable backups.
Just as importantly, we discuss each production’s requirements before work begins so there are no surprises once files start moving.
What that means in practice
Controlled access
Project material is available only to the people assigned to the work. Access is reviewed as teams and project needs change.
Separated client data
Client material is kept separate by project to reduce unnecessary access and prevent work from crossing between productions.
Infrastructure under our control
Primary production data is stored on infrastructure operated and managed by Wooly Pixel.
Encryption
Project data is encrypted both while it is being transferred and while it is stored.
Monitoring and review
Systems and access activity are logged and monitored. We also perform regular access reviews to make sure permissions remain appropriate.
Backups and recovery
Encrypted off-site backups are maintained so project data can be recovered if primary systems are damaged or unavailable.
MPA and TPN
We use the MPA Content Security Best Practices v5.3.1 as the framework for our security program.
Wooly Pixel is currently preparing for a formal third-party TPN assessment. We will update this page as our assessment and Shield status progress.
Your production may have its own rules
Security requirements vary between studios, agencies, productions, and individual projects. Before work begins, we can review your handling, access, transfer, retention, and delivery requirements with your production or security team.
We are also available to complete vendor-security questionnaires and provide additional information to qualified clients.
